About the Founder, Nance Wolff

Nance Wolff is the heart and soul behind Souls 'n Bloom, a vibrant sanctuary of daylilies, whimsical gardens, and cherished memories. With over 3,000 varieties of day lilies in her collection, Nance is not just a gardener—she’s an artist, a cultivator of beauty, and a storyteller through flowers.

Originally from Atlanta, Nance spent years as an artist and landscaper before trading in her "bar shoes for barn shoes" and embracing life in the countryside. When she moved to Polk County, she brought with her a deep love for day lilies and an endless passion for cross-breeding new and unique varieties.

Souls 'n Bloom is more than just a garden—it’s a living tapestry woven with personal history and creative expression. Among the four and a half acres of floral splendor, visitors will find themed outdoor rooms, playful tributes, and even a memorial garden, affectionately named the Taj May’all, celebrating the loved ones who remain a part of Nance’s journey.

Surrounded by goats, chickens, and two strutting tom turkeys, Souls 'n Bloom is a place of magic, transformation, and joy—just like the woman who created it. Whether you’re a fellow plant enthusiast or simply seeking a moment of inspiration, Nance’s garden is a testament to the beauty of nature, memory, and endless possibility.
