It's like open arms asking for a hug. This "plum simple" flower is a stand out. Large petals of violet-plum veined in maroon wave gently on the edges, surrounded by a very thin ivory wire. A bright green throat shines like a beacon in the night with a thin stippled border of violet above. Sepals are petal colored with a chartreuse patch. Raised midribs change colors to match the petal pattern.

Hand-Selected Beginnings


Every Souls ’n Bloom lily starts with a careful choice. Nance personally selects the strongest and most unique varieties from some of the best hybridizers in the country, ensuring that only memorable and diverse blooms begin the process.

Hand-Pollinated with Care

The journey begins in the garden, where Nance hand-pollinates the best flowers for cross-breeding. This lets us track the exact lineage of each bloom and maintain full control over its quality. Seed pods take 2–3 months to mature, and only the most viable are chosen.

Patient Seed Preparation

Once harvested, the seeds are stored and refrigerated for up to three months. This period of rest helps prepare them for successful growth.

Careful Early Growth

Seeds are first planted in solo cups, where they grow safely for six months to a year. When strong enough, they are moved into garden beds to continue their development.
